This Silicone Thermal Break is a genuine replacement part for the 9Barista Mk.1 espresso machine. It is the black silicone component that sits between the two boiler sections, providing essential thermal insulation and protecting your machine’s internal structure from overheating.
Under normal use, this part is highly durable and typically never needs replacing. However, if your 9Barista is accidentally left on a heat source for an extended period after brewing, the thermal break can degrade or become damaged due to excessive heat exposure.
Replacing a compromised thermal break helps maintain safety, thermal stability, and optimal machine performance.
This part is compatible only with the Mk.1 model and is not suitable for Mk.2 machines. It's easy to install during routine maintenance or post-overheat repairs.
