9Barista ships worldwide from the United Kingdom.
We aim to dispatch all orders,including machines, spare parts, and accessories, within 1 to 2 business days of receiving your order.

This short processing window also gives you time to request:

  • Address or recipient changes

  • Tax documentation or VAT updates

  • Order edits (only available for UK orders)

  • Order cancellations (before dispatch)

Shipping and delivery timeframes begin only once your order has been fulfilled by our team. You will receive tracking details as soon as your order ships.

Holiday Season Shipping - 2025

General Information

To make sure your 9Barista arrives in time for Christmas, we now recommend placing your order no later than 7th December.

All orders placed in December will have an extended returns period for peace of mind. Orders placed in this period can be returned up until the 16th January.

Exceptional demand this season means our shipping cut-off has come forward. All UK orders are dispatched via FedEx Next Day.

We’ll continue shipping after this date, of course — but we can’t guarantee pre-Christmas delivery.

The run-up to Christmas is always the busiest stretch of the year, and from 20th December through to the end of the month things naturally slow down a little as couriers reach peak capacity and our team rotates through their holiday break.

During this window:

  • Order dispatch may take a little longer than usual. Carriers typically experience their highest annual load from the 20th onward, so even when we ship promptly, parcels may move more slowly through the network. Please also allow slightly longer dispatch times from our factory as we will have reduced staff.
  • Support replies may be slightly delayed. We keep a close eye on the inbox, but response times can stretch while part of the team is away.
  • Repairs and technical assessments resume properly in early January. Any machines arriving with us over the festive period will be logged, but hands-on work ramps up again once the servicing team is back from their holidays.

If you’re aiming for delivery before Christmas, the earlier you order, the better. At this time of year the courier network runs close to capacity, which naturally adds a little extra transit time.

UK Shipments

FedEx Shipments

For those ordering one of our epresso makers, to get your shipment in time for Christmas, we recommend placing your order no later than the 7th December. All of our UK orders are shipped with Fedex Next Day.

We will still be shipping orders after this date, but cannot guarantee Christmas delivery.

Royal Mail Shipments

To get your shipment in time for Christmas, we recommend placing your order no later than the 17th December. All of our UK orders are shipped with Royal Mail Tracked 24.

It will still be possible to place orders after all of these recommended dates, however we will not be able to guarantee delivery in time for Christmas.

International Shipments

DHL Express

For shipments that us our Express Shipping, we recommend placing your order no later than 7th December to get your items in time for Christmas.

It will still be possible to place orders after all of these recommended dates, however we will not be able to guarantee delivery in time for Christmas.

Standard Delivery

For shipments using standard services, we recommend placing your order no later than 5th December to get your items in time for Christmas.

Carriers

General Information

We aim to ship all orders next working day when possible and stock allows. The only exception is engraved machines, which incur a 48 hour lead time.

UK Shipments

FedEx Shipments

All of our UK orders are shipped with FedEx Next Day. All orders over £30 can access this for free.

Royal Mail Shipments

All of our UK orders under £29.99 are shipped with Royal Mail Tracked 24.

International Shipments

Standard Shipping

Standard shipping timeframes and charges for your destination can be found at the checkout. We offer low cost shipping options to most countries.

Express Shipping

All international orders shipped with express shipping use DHL Express service. Your shipping time frame will be provided at the checkout and your tracking number will be included in the shipping notification.

Customs & VAT

Import Fees - International Orders

Depending on the destination, you will either be able to choose between pre-paying for customs fees at the checkout, or pay on arrival, or these costs will be included within the product price (destination dependent).

Duty and Tax Refunds

For import duty and tax refunds, you will need to contact your order's courier and they will be able to provide the specific process for obtaining a duty / tax refund in your country.

Restrictions

Temporary Addresses

If you are ordering to a temporary address, please be aware that we cannot accept any liability for packages that arrive late. You will need to get in touch with someone at the temporary address or the courier directly.

Business Addresses

We can ship to business addresses within the EU, but we may require additional information. Please ensure that you add your business EORI and VAT number at the checkout if your order is a business transaction.

If your order is for personal use, but it is being sent to a business address you do not need the EORI and VAT number. You will just need to add "FAO: YOUR NAME" in the company name field at the checkout. 

Military Addresses

Unfortunately we are unable to deliver to military addresses, particularly APO, DPO or FPO addresses.

Freight Forwarding

We are also unable to ship to freight forwarding companies or storage units. Orders placed with either of these address types will be cancelled. Orders suspected to be placed with the intention of resale will also be cancelled, with credit card fees deducted from the refund. Please see our terms and conditions for further information.

Country Specific Restrictions

General Information

We have successfully shipped 9Barista machines to dozens of countries. We’ve learned that some countries have some creative customs rules that can cause problems which we’ve noted below. However, every country has their own customs rules and regulations and we can’t keep track of them all – so please check that with your local customs agency before you place an order.

Personal Identification

Some countries will require some additional information to ensure your shipment passes through customs. Without it, customs will send the machine back to the UK, so please provide it at checkout. If not provided, we will have to request it from you as without it we won’t be able to process your order. These countries are as follows:

South Korea:Personal Customs Clearance Code (PCCC)

Spain:NIF

Turkey:TR ID number

Indonesia:NPWP number, or personal ID, driving license or passport number

Portugal: NIF

China

We can ship 9Barista machines to mainland China. However, if you wish to order more than one machine, please contact us first as Chinese customs do not allow the shipment of more than one ‘item’ to personal recipients in mainland China. We’d need to send each machine separately. This restriction does not currently apply to Hong Kong
