Small Distributor Programme

The 9Barista small distributor programme provides an opportunity for selected coffee shops, stores and roasteries around the world to sell the 9Barista espresso machine without the need to hold stock. We would like every coffee shop to be able to distribute the 9Barista if they want to, but we appreciate that many businesses may not be able to keep significant stock due to the capital outlay required. We’re offering to keep stock for you but still offer you a cut of the sale. We will take care of all customer queries and returns.

How it Works

We will provide you with a 9Barista espresso machine on loan, along with your own unique link and coupon code. Any time a 9Barista espresso machine is sold via your link or using your coupon code, you will get a cut of the sale. You have three options when it comes to deciding how to generate sales:

Option 1 - Physical Store: you display your machine in your café or store, allowing customers to see, handle and feel the machine before deciding to buy. If they do want to buy, you give them a card that features your link in the form of a QR code (we will provide these) and your coupon code. Any sales made via the code or using the coupon generate commission for you and give the customer a free gift.
Option 2 - Website: you list the 9Barista machine on your website, with the ‘buy now’ button linking directly to our website using your unique link. You get a cut of any completed sales and the customer gets a free gift
Option 3 - Physical Store and Website: you display your machine instore and you list the 9Barista machine on your website, with the ‘buy now’ button linking directly to our website via your unique link. If a customer wants to buy in store, you give them a card that features your unique link in the form of a QR code, as well as your coupon code. Any sales made via the QR code, via your link online, or using your coupon code, generate commission for you and a free gift for your customer.

Payment of Commission

Commission is offered on machine sales only, at a flat rate of £32 per machine, and is paid no later than 50 days after payment for the order has been received

How to Apply

If you would like to apply to be part of the small distributor programme, please complete this form. You’ll be asked to supply details of your business, your website and a selection of photographs of your shop, along with a bank account that can accept the currency we operate with in your country. We recommend setting one up with Wise if you don’t have one already.

Once we approve your application, we’ll need to speak in person over Zoom to finalise things and let you know how to receive your display machine and personalised cards with your unique link, QR code and coupon code. We’ll also run through our marketing guidelines and provide some photography and copy to use instore or on your website.

Eligibility & Rules

You must keep at least one 9Barista as a display model for customers to see and handle. We will provide you with a loan machine free of charge, but it will remain the property of 9Barista and must be made available for collection if requested.
You are responsible for any damage or theft of the loan machine. Machines which are lost or not returned when requested will incur a fee, equal to the price charged for a machine in your region at the time. Damaged machines will incur a fee equal to the cost of replacing the damaged part or parts.
Commission is paid within 50 days of the referred sale being made.
If a sale made from your store or website is returned for a refund based on our 30 day refund policy, you will lose your commission from that sale.
We reserve the right to remove you from this programme for any reason, and at any time.
If you have breached any of these conditions, we reserve the right to withhold any commission that may have been due to you.
You must accurately describe 9Barista’s features, benefits and abilities to your customers. If we receive complaints from sales made from your store or website, we reserve the right to remove you from the programme.
If you agree to join the Small Distributor Programme, we are trusting you to represent 9Barista. We ask you not to defame 9Barista, the company or our products.
You agree to us posting your shop’s name address and contact details online as one of our small distribution partners, should we choose to do so.
You must not promote sales of the machine outside your country, but passive sales are permitted.
Participation in the scheme implies acceptance of these terms.
