Using the Heat Transfer Plate
The Heat Tranfer Plate is design to be used with the 9Barista Mk.2 on domestic gas cookers. We recommend using a medium-sized gas ring of between 5 to 7cm (2-3 inches) in diameter.
It’s important that your heat transfer plate remains in good condition. If it sustains damage by overheating, it won’t transfer heat effectively to your machine and as a result, you may find that your machine doesn’t function correctly.
In order to avoid overheating your Heat Transfer Plate, we recommend that you;
- Do not use it with wok burner-style gas stoves
- Do not use it with industrial-style stoves
- Do not use it with propane/butane camping gas stoves
- Do not apply heat to the plate without the 9Barista in place
If your Heat Transfer Plate is damaged, you can purchase a replacement from our store using this link.
